S2, Ep. 7: Reclaiming Your Play Time

It came together quite creatively: A self-described Curiosity Cultivator on a cartoon couch. (We joked about our love of alliteration.) But, the wisdom Austinite Malcolm Bradford imparts provokes one to take inventory of a whole life lived “alliteratively” — where sights, sounds, and social interactions seem stuck in a cycle. Such a scenario, Malcolm says, is not always consonant with spiritual growth, mental wellbeing, or physical health. Malcolm urges us to Be curious! Freestyle it on occasion. Make room for play! In this episode, Malcolm talks about how a community wellness center he designed in East Austin reflects his own colorful, curious, playful nature. Plus, he gives details about one of his latest missions — to help cultivate a modern bathhouse culture in Austin where pools of water work to heal, soothe, and unite.
